Clover Black Gold Needles - the Cadillac of needles!

These are simply the BEST needles that I have worked with! When I was first introduced to these at a trade show, I was typically skeptical and jaded (every company has the "best of XXX", etc) but still curious enough to order them. Oh...my...stars! The difference in the reduced drag on the needle pulling through fabric is readily noticeable. The needles just glide through everything from cotton to microfiber. If you are like me and stitch with a death grip on the needle, you will also appreciate the stiffness of the needles - these are hard to bend. My mother tested this for me over several days and has now decided to go home and throw out all of her other brands of needles! On a personal note, this is my preferred fabric to use for solid color shirts - just enough texture for interest and very long wearing with minimal care. I've had success with machine washing on delicate in a mild detergent, such as Dreft, and drying on low temp. Machine washing does bring up the texturing but that's part of the interest. Allow extra for shrinkage (approx 2" per yard).
