Plush Cat Designs was founded by Christy Glenn in 2008. Her dream was simple and clear - there is no reason the home sewing fanatic should not have easy access to beautiful fabrics at reasonable prices. Frustrated with the limitations of the local stores, she began looking for those hidden sources. Having traveled quite a bit around the US, Christy realized that access can be extremely limited and the plans for a web store began. She has been in the apparel and soft goods manufacturing industry for many years, as a pattern maker and technical designer. Using contacts and sources developed over the years, we are able to bring a lot of these great fabrics and notions directly to you.

All of our fabrics and notions are hand selected for feel, quality and value. If we wouldn't sew with it or have it in our personal fabric stashes, we don't expect anyone else to! Great care is also taken to present a coordinated line or wardrobe core as much as is possible.

We don't claim to have everything under the sun sourced or have all of the sewing answers in the world but we will always do our best to help you with any need or question. Sewing is our passion and fabric is our addiction... anything we can do to share this is a joy.
